Explorer's Hall is our main hall and is where the Ballroom is located. LaPerouse, Arteaga and Cook Halls, all named after explorers combine to make a 19,306 square foot Ballroom. Explorer's Hall can be used for banquets, dances, seminars, exhibition space, and general sessions. The space can accommodate a variety of room configurations. We also have small concerts, fashion and comedy shows in this hall with cabaret seating and cocktail service, or general theater seating.

Our lower level is called Summit Hall, and it holds our main meeting rooms. This hall can be configured into 1 large room or 14 separate meeting rooms ranging from 575 to 1400 square feet. The lobby on this level works well for registrations, a few display tables, or coat check. The building’s primary bathrooms are on this level.

Boardroom - This room is just under 1000 square feet and it can divide into two rooms. Conference Room - This room has a stationary table with executive seating 10. Neva Lounge - The Neva Lounge is named after Alaska’s first Governor's wife Neva. It is a relaxing space to sit in between meetings, host small receptions or serve as a VIP break area. This space has working gas fireplace.

The Egan Center’s most noteworthy feature are the eight, 40 year old Ficus trees living inside the Lobby. Sharing this beautiful space with these trees are Native Alaska art pieces that rival those found in any museum.
